Forest Glen Bridge Reconstruction

Provided Phase III construction engineering services for the removal and reconstruction of the Forest Glen Bridge over the North Branch of the Chicago River.

The services consisted of the complete removal of the existing single-span bridge (Structure No. 016-6161) and replacement with twin precast arch culverts, each spanning 42 feet. The limits of work were approximately from Station 8+3.00 to Station 11+65.00. Also included was drainage, paving, excavation, lighting and restoration as detailed in the construction documents.
